Today as a group we went to a Lenister Driving school, to learn how to drive an car. When arrived we were told to split up into groups. Our group decided to do the car racing first and then do the theory afterwards.
We were split into groups of either 4 or 3 and we choose a car to drive. We got a women instructor her name was called Margret. My friend said sh'd drive first and then we would. Margret was explaining how to use the car and I was listening on how to drive (listening to the instruction)
After both my friends had lean't how to drive, it was my turn, I was kind of nervous that i'd crash the car, I didn't thank god. I was kind of going fast and kind of slow, I learned how to change gears, how to stop and how to turn the corners and everything. It was really fun.
I wanna do it again. I can't wait until I am driving.
Then it was are turn to swap over, now we were doing the theory. We were split into groups, I was with my friends. We were asked to do 40 questions, if we got 40 questions right we would get a free voucher to go again. My group got 37 questions and we then for a second time we had to guess which ones we got right and which ones we got wrong. We could only change 3 cause we only got 3 wrong we changed them and we went down a point.
Then we got to choose a questions and he'd tell us which of the 4 answers were correct and which ones were wrong. Altogether we got 38 out of 40.
Then we went outside into a little shade and each individual had to wear these drunk glasses to show what your like when drunk. We had to find a cone and place it onto another cone, it was quite hard to do because u could see 2 of each and we'd have to slap his hand, I missed and hit his shoulder by mistake because it was hard. We all had a go of that.
I had a really good day today.

French talking in Salestians
Today all the French people from our school went to Salestians to speak french to one another.
At 1:45 we took the bus into the boys school, When we arrived we walked into the school and waited in the hall for a few minutes, then we went into the hall where we saw all the boys sitting down.We put our jackets and bags at one side of the table. The teacher in their school told us to sit anywhere in the room, I just sat down beside a lad.
He asked me about my interest, family, pastimes and where I live and stuff in french. Afterwards we just talked about T.Y. and stuff.
They had food pringles and M&M'S they were yummy.
All the lads were asking the same questions over and over again. the guys moved from another seat to another one not us. They all said that at the start of T.Y. they are going to Normandy for 4 days and that they were all excited about it.
Most of the lads liked to play golf and football.
At 3;15 the french teacher told everyone to get on ther stage so that they could take pictures of the whole class of t.y.
It was then over that we all went home. It was a good experience. :)
Selma
Today as a class we as a year went to see a film in Liffey Valley called "Selma".
When we arrived we all went and bought popcorn and I got a drink of club orange. Then we all went into the cinema. I sat at the very top with all of my friends. Then the film started.
In the film there was a few scenes that I didn't like because it showed that white people didn't like black people because they were killing them, and the scenes were very graphic which I didn't like. I liked it though because it shows that black people have a lot of courage to stand up against white people to fight for what they believe in and they wanted the same equal right as white people and I wouldn't blame them.
I went into the bathroom and my friend was there and she didn't really like the film so I was in there talking to her for a while. I was trying to convince her to come back in because I didn't want her to be outside for the whole amount of time. I told her to close her eyes when graphic scenes were gonna come up, I told her look at the ceiling or something, We afterwards went in together.
When went back into the film it was on the part where the black people were getting ready to March for their freedom.
I liked the ending of the film because black people got the same equal rights as white people. :)
The only thing that I didn't like was that years later Martin Luther King was killed :(
