                                                                     French talking in Salestians

Today all the French people from our school went to Salestians to speak french to one another.

At 1:45 we took the bus into the boys school, When we arrived we walked into the school and waited in the hall for a few minutes, then we went into the hall where we saw all the boys sitting down.We put our jackets and bags at one side of the table. The teacher in their school told us  to sit anywhere in the room, I just sat down beside a lad.
He asked me about my interest, family, pastimes and where I live and stuff in french. Afterwards we just talked about T.Y. and stuff.

They had food pringles and M&M'S they were yummy.

All the lads were asking the same questions over and over again. the guys moved  from another seat to another one not us. They all said that at the start of T.Y. they are going to Normandy for 4 days and that they were all excited about it.
Most of the lads liked to play golf and football.

At 3;15 the french teacher told everyone to get on ther stage so that they could take pictures of the whole class of t.y.

It was then over that we all went home. It was a good experience. :)

                                                                         Selma

Today as a class we as a year went to see a film in Liffey Valley called "Selma".
When we arrived we all went and bought popcorn and I got a drink of club orange. Then we all went into the cinema. I sat at the very top with all of my friends. Then the film started.

In the film there was a few scenes that I didn't like because it showed that white people didn't like black people because they were killing them, and the scenes were very graphic which I didn't like.  I liked it though because it shows that black people have a lot of courage to stand up against white people to fight for what they believe in and they wanted the same equal right as white people and I wouldn't blame them.

I went into the bathroom and my friend was there and she didn't really like the film so I was in there talking to her for a while. I was trying to convince her to come back in because I didn't want her to be outside for the whole amount of time. I told her to close her eyes when graphic scenes were gonna come up, I told her look at the ceiling or something, We afterwards went in together.

When went back into the film it was on the part where the black people were getting ready to March for their freedom.
I liked the ending of the film because black people got the same equal rights as white people. :)
The only thing that I didn't like was that years later Martin Luther King was killed :(

a place to visit when leave school

A Place To Visit When Leave School
A place that I would like to visit when I am older is Australia, I would like to visit Australia because there is kangeroo that are there and I would like to see them hopping up and down the place.
I also would like to see my Auntie and Uncle because I hardly see them, they come every 4 years and I don't know what to say to them because we hardly see one another.
I would also like to experience the hot weather that is there, it is really warm over there
I would like to experience all the different sites also, but not sites where you'd have to do a lot of walking. The sites that I would like to see our Sydney Harbour, Dreamworld, Warner Bros Movie world, and wild life, eg Kangeroos.

I would like to see my cousins and see where they live because I don't know where they live. I would also like to walk in the desserts for about 20 mins to see if you could start to see things and imagine things, it would be funny, haha.

Those are the reasons why I would like to visit Australia when I leave school.
